In college, I got my first taste of coding with Wolfram Mathematica. I found that with all of my classes I worked most voraciously on computer science and could not stop until I found a solution. Unfortunately, my college didn't have a computer science degree, just a couple of classes to take as electives, so I studied for an Applied Mathematics degree while being a member of my school's NCAA Men's Swim Team. Post-graduation, I took on a role in management. I quickly worked my way to the top and became one of the youngest managers on the west coast. However, something was missing, and I wanted to get back into computer science. So I have decided to go back to school and pursue my Master's in Computer Science where I have learned C++ and also take some night classes for HTML, and CSS. As I continue to learn more, I look forward to the next Software Engineering role where I can be a part of a team that is building a product to better the world.

My Skills

This site is using Bootstrap with Flexbox. I gained this knowledge by attending classes at Geekwise Academy. In these classes, I was able to build responsive websites and learn responsive web concepts. On this page, you will notice Parallax Scrolling, Jumbotrons, Interactive Navigation bars, and buttons.

"Hex Calculator" and "Tic-Tac-Toe" are implemented with C++ and shows an understanding of functions, menu creation, loops, and Arrays.

I am always working on furthering my knowledge and am currently working on Pyton and Javascript with CodeAcademy with future classes being planned to solidify my skills.
